December 5, 2005
Guest Speaker: Pastor Phillip Hill
Guest Clinician: Music Pastor Benny Ramos III
Young "Up & Comers": Joshua Howard & David Beall
Our monthly Get-Together on December 5th had a special Christmas atmosphere. We had our room dividers pulled back and opened up the whole gymnasium. Lighting was subdued to highlight the Christmas trees and wreaths. Circular tables added to a "cabaret" feel.
New attendees received a pair of HEADHUNTERS DRUMSTICKS!
We all fellowshipped while eating pizza & great desserts.
Our special guest speaker was Pastor Phillip Hill . Phillip talked about "Glory Seekers" . . . musicians who seek the glory for themselves instead of giving all the Glory to God. We need to remember it's all about Him.
We had a doorprize giveaway of 2 "PHAT FEET".
The "Equipment Tip" of the month was a very handy
accessory called
"Manhasset Concertino Music Stand"
Our "Young Up & Coming" drummers were Joshua Howard and
David Beall. They both played with passion and exhibited technical
proficiency beyond their years.
Our special guest clinician was Music Pastor Benny Ramos III. Benny gave an excellent talk about what a music pastor needs and drumming on a worship team.
Our jam session consisted of countless drummers on 8 drumsets and 1 cowbell.
Many thanks to Headhunters Drumsticks & the Phat Foot Company.
My sincere thanks to Cy White of PHOTO ACTION USA
for providing the wonderful pictures of our monthly Get-Together
for the Wisconsin Chapter of Drummers for Jesus.
