Guest Speaker & Clinician: Tony Meister
Young "Up & Comer": Genesis Maceda
Our monthly Get-Together on June 5th was wonderful!
New attendees received a pair of HEADHUNTERS DRUMSTICKS!
We all fellowshipped while eating pizza & great desserts.
Our "Young Up & Coming" drummer for the evening was Genesis Maceda. Genesis is very gifted and has a strong passion for God and drumming. She has grown her gift greatly since last year!
Our special guest speaker and clinician was Tony Meister. Tony gave his testimony of playing drums in high school and had many opportunities in the secular world, but how God called him to use his gift to lead others in worship. He also testified about how the Spirit of God fell while prophesying on the drums. Tony gave many Biblical examples during his talk.
Tony talked about the importance of playing skillfully and he
demonstrated on the drums that he doesn't just talk the talk, but he walks the
walk!
We had a doorprize giveaway of 2 "PHAT FEET",
a Sabian
shirt
and a Pro-Mark banner.
Many thanks to Headhunters Drumsticks & the Phat Foot Company.
My sincere thanks to Cy White of PHOTO ACTION USA
for providing the wonderful pictures of our monthly Get-Together
for the Wisconsin Chapter of Drummers for Jesus.
