Door Prize from White House Of Music
Our March 3rd Get-Together was a very unique and special one!
New attendees received a pair of HEADHUNTERS DRUMSTICKS!
We fellowshipped while we ate hot pizza, cold drinks, and desserts.
Door prizes awarded were: a $50 gift card from White House Of Music - Waukesha. An instruction book and a pair of drumsticks autographed by Teddy Campbell were donated by Ken Kingery.
David Pitzo of Davidic Alliance inspired everyone to prayer and explained the value and effectiveness of intercessory prayer.
Maurice Liddell demonstrated displayed jazz drumming and , along with his friend Prince, who joined him on a second set of drums, showed us how to create new rhythms and ideas based off a given rhythm, how to interact with rhythms around you. They also showed us how to trade segments of time, such as "trading fours" and other time durations.
This was a really fine jam session. There was a unique cohesiveness and a group rhythm and feel happening throughout the session. It was fantastic.
Many thanks to White House Of Music, Ken Kingery & The Headhunters Drumsticks Company.
PLEASE - We you pay White House a visit, or drop by the Headhunters website, be sure to thank them for supporting our cause! It wouldn't even hurt to drop them a card of thanks!
My sincere thanks to Cy White of PHOTO ACTION USA
